Well for this year anyway...

My one and only New Year's Resolution for 2005 will be to get this darn blog active again.

And I was good! This post is not pre-dated, post-dated or anything! It's really 11:20pm!

Got 2 kids still awake. They're trying their hardest to stay up. We'll see if they last the final 40 minutes. My guess is no....

See everyone next year! and I promise I'll post more!

People!!! Deadlines are set for a reason!!!! If we didn't need a deadline then we wouldn't set on in the first place would we?????????

The real sad thing is that it's gotten so bad that I've been forced to set a deadline, 3 days ahead of the REAL deadline becuase I know I'll get the most responses in the day AFTER the deadline. So what do I have to do now? Set the deadline a week ahead?

I think the best part though is telling people that they missed it but I'll try and see if I can persuade the carrier to allow them in, on my good word and help out the person. Of course I know it's going to work anyway but still it's fun to see them sweat! :)

The funnest part of college and working at our radio station was playing a song by Queensryche on Sunday mornings called "Is Anybody Out There"... I used to play it right at 8am when I went on air and if anyone called before the song would end, I would reward them with a free CD of their choice.

So In honor of that... the next person that sends me a comment to my blog will win a FREE CD too!

Anyone seen Snow White???

Wow.. pretty interesting... December 10th and no snow yet for the year... Kind of interesting... Weatherman said the other day that last year, first snow was on December 6th... well that's past and it was like 50 degrees today so maybe someone forgot to tell old man winter??? LOL

Busy as all freaking hell at work so don't expect much of an update for a while...

Anyway, yes we are 1/10th into December and I'm making my first post. Work has been nuts, but I'm swimming in cash right now for all the overtime! That's definately a plus right before Christmas! I'll actually be able to buy myself some presents! Ha HA HA...

A Joke...

A man and his wife were driving home one very cold night when the wife asks her husband to stop the car.

There was a baby skunk lying at the side of the road, and she got out to see if it was still alive.

It was, and she said to her husband, "It's nearly frozen to death.

Can we take it with us, get it warm, and let it go in the morning?"
He says, "O.K., Get in the car with it."
"Where shall I put it to get it warm?"
He says, "Put it in between your legs.
It's nice and warm there.

"But what about the smell?"
"Just hold its nose."

The man is expected to recover, but the skunk she used to beat him with died at the scene.
